Repair and Vulcanization

OTR, Earthmoving, Industrial, Forklift, and Aerial Work Platform Tires

To help reduce your tire costs, we repair and hot vulcanize damaged and worn-out tires in our own autoclave, so you don’t have to purchase new tires. This helps save costs and extends the lifespan of your tires.

Our repair and vulcanization service saves you money on your tire budget, significantly lowering the overall cost of your vehicle. Our expert team has the right knowledge, experience, speed, and craftsmanship to repair your tires in the best possible way. The quality of our work is continuously confirmed by the satisfaction of our regular customers.

The repair and vulcanization process includes the following steps:

  1. The tire can be brought to our workshop, or we can pick it up from your location.

  2. Inspection and assessment of the damage.

  3. A no-obligation price quote.

  4. Carefully grinding the damaged areas.

  5. Removing cracks and rusty steel wires.

  6. Fitting a patch to the damaged area, restoring the tire’s strength, stability, and load capacity. We have a wide range of patches for various types of damage, and we accurately calculate which patch is suitable for the repair.

  7. The tire is then vulcanized in our own hot air autoclave, which can accommodate tires up to 57 inches. After several hours of vulcanization at the correct pressure and temperature, the tire is fully operational again.

With our professional service, we ensure that your tires are repaired quickly and effectively, keeping your machinery running smoothly.

The Benefits of Hot Air Vulcanization for Tyre Repairs

At OTREM, we use a specialized hot air vulcanization process, unlike many of our competitors who rely on steam. This dry heat method ensures a much stronger bond between the repair rubber and the tyre casing.

Thanks to our use of dry hot air:

  • There is no moisture or rust formation inside the autoclave.

  • Water or steam cannot penetrate the repair area or casing.

  • The result is a higher-quality repair with optimal adhesion and durability.

Because we vulcanize in-house using our own autoclave, waiting times are minimal, and we can make your tyre operational again in no time.

Our Hot Vulcanization Repairs Are Resistant To:

  • Heavy loads

  • Wear and tear

  • Ageing

Also for Forklift and Aerial Work Platform Tires

In addition to large earthmoving tires, we also repair forklift and aerial work platform tires, including PU-filled tires (also known as foam-filled or mousse tires). For example, if a chunk is missing from your tire, we can restore it using hot vulcanization, making the tire fully functional again.

Fast, Efficient, and Cost-Effective

Because we carry out all repairs in-house, waiting times are minimal. Your tires are quickly and reliably restored, helping you avoid costly downtime and save significantly on replacement costs.
